Key: How to Identify Placentation in NEET

  1. How many locules (chambers) does the ovary have?
    • 1 locule → can be: Marginal, Parietal, Free Central, or Basal
    • Multiple locules → Axile
  2. If 1 locule, where are the ovules?
    • Along ventral wall (margin) → Marginal
    • On inner wall (with false septum) → Parietal
