Periodic Functions

by Notetube Official47 words4 views

f(x+T) = f(x) for all x, where T > 0 is the period. If f has period T, then f(x+nT) = f(x) for all integers n. The period of f(ax+b) is T/|a| (horizontal shift doesn't affect period, only scaling does). Constant functions are periodic with any period.
