Vertical throw upward (upward positive):
- u = +v_0, a = -g
- Time to reach max height: t_up = v_0/g
- Max height: H = v_0^2/(2g)
- Total time of flight: T = 2v_0/g
- Speed at any height h: v = sqrt(v_0^2 - 2gh)
Symmetry: Time of ascent = Time of descent (for same level). Speed at any height during ascent = speed at same height during descent.
